“Our only art is faith and our music Christ”
“At nobis ars una fides et musica Christus”: Carmen 20, 31: CCL 203, 144.
JOIN US FOR OUR 2016-2017 CONCERT SEASON
Entering our fourth year, we are excited to present our most ambitious season to date. It is our great pleasure to invite you to take part in a marvelous array of very special musical presentations.
Every year, every liturgy, and every Sunday is truly a celebration. Each piece of music has been selected to challenge and inspire, to excite emotion and to stir the soul, to lift hearts and deepen faith. It is through this format that our assembly experiences the richness of our repertoire, the proximity of the soloist, the fullness of our instruments, and, ultimately, the intimacy of St. Joseph Parish. We are a community coming together as a mosaic of talent to provide our listeners with peaceful reflection and spiritual renewal. Through the restorative power of music, we find the strength to continue our mission to evolve into a living tradition as people of faith, to reach out and gather in pure spirit, to honor the many rhythms that infuse our lives, to realize the breadth of our heritage and lasting legacy. Our choirs and musicians embody the passion, vigor, feeling, and brilliance of the music they present. As a result, the craft and the art of music are reborn: our craft is making the right choices; our art is not noticing the craft.
Thank you in advance for setting aside time to support not only our music ministry but also the very dedicated soloists, choirs, and instrumentalists featured this season. May the blessing and peace of our Lord be yours throughout the year.
Welcome to The Music at St. Joseph Church!

Timeless carols, beautiful orchestral arragements, and angelic voices create a glorious soundscape that transport the listener across time and space.
